All cash desks of the regional departments' cash settlement centers were re-equipped; as a result, Billcon N-120A banknote counters were replaced with Magner 250.

"The Japanese model Billcon N-120A has been a classic for over 20 years in Uzbekistan. The device symbolized reliable and trouble-free operation for many years. In 2018, equipment became available in the Republic that can calculate the sum of mixed denominations of different currencies, as well as identify counterfeits, including high-quality ones, which is important for US dollars. By the way, we were the first to import this equipment to Uzbekistan. With the arrival of this "smart" and functional equipment, banks began to replace Billcon." - reports Marat Gatiyatov, who oversaw testing and delivery to the CBRU.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan chose Magner 250 following a preliminary test for two months at the Cash Settlement Center of the Central Bank in the city of Tashkent.
